Autobiography

Zhadyra Bizhanova – MBChB in general medicine and doctor of philosophy in epidemiology. Zhadyra was born in 1988 in the city of Aralsk, Kyzylorda region. In 2005, she graduated from T. Shevchenko's school with a mathematical bias with excellent marks. Subsequently, she won an educational grant to study at the Kazakh National University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (KazNMU), and in 2011 she completed her studies with a red diploma in the specialty of a doctor in general medicine. In 2012, Zhadyra completed her internship in general surgery at the Kazakh-Russian Medical University (KRMU). In 2014, she won the Bolashak International Scholarship, and subsequently, Zhadyra studied for a master's degree in public health at the University of Pittsburgh in the USA, 2016-2018. In 2018, she enrolled in a PhD in epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh, and in 2022 Zhadyra completed her PhD on the topic "Identification of indicators of adherence to the recommended level of physical activity among overweight and obese adults in a randomized clinical trial using mobile devices" . At the moment, Zhadyra is a co- author of more than 18 published scientific articles in foreign journals and 12 published abstracts with participation in international conferences with an H-index of 5 and 87 citations.
